Monique Maldonado is a licensed Mental Health Therapist and a certified Substance Abuse Counselor who graduated from Southern California Seminary with her Master's in Counseling Psychology and emphasis in Theology. She has been serving as a Therapist for 7 years and has 10 years experience in the field of addictions. Monique is passionate about attachment styles, relationships, individual mental health and helping others break free from addictive patterns. She is married with 6 adult children and 18 grandchildren. She celebrates diversity and purposes to learn about other cultures and perspectives through travel and connection with others. In her spare time, Monique enjoys spending time with her husband and family; dancing, singing, hiking, and kayaking.
Monique serves Central iowa client in person at the Ames location as well as serving clients via tele-health.

Kristin Boyd is a licensed Mental Health Therapist, and a certified Substance Abuse Counselor who currently serves the Cedar Rapids area and tele-health clients. Kristin graduated from Drake University with her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in May 2020, and she graduated from the University of Central Missouri with her Master's in Psychology in 2016. She has been serving in the counseling field for 4 years, and before that had experience working in a women's center. In her spare time, Kristin likes spending time with her husband and family and enjoys doing many things outdoors.

Melinda Crane serves the Cedar Rapids area and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and certified Substance Abuse Counselor who graduated from Mount Mercy University with her Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. She started her career in healthcare as a nurse and has been counseling for the last 8 years. Melinda beleives her role in the therapeutic relationship is to facilitate healing through evidence-based practices from a framework of faith. Melinda enjoys exploring the outdoors with her sons and traveling on missions trips.
Melinda also sees clients over tele-health.

Alyssa Sinnwell is a (t) licensed Mental Health Therapist and will see clients in person in the Cedar Falls/Waterloo areas as well as Tele-health beginning Oct. 2, 2023. Alyssa graduated from Drake University with her Master's in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling in December 2021. With undergraduate degrees in both psychology and exercise science, she has a special passion for the mind-body connection. Alyssa's mission is to help individuals from all walks of life overcome barriers and boldly step into the identity God has called them to. Prior to counseling, Alyssa worked for a non-profit and state agency serving individuals with disabilities. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and deepening her faith through Bible reading, worship music, and podcasts.
